The Unite to Light Ghana team in partnership with Unite to Light Global, a 501(c)(3) organisation with the mission to manufacture and distribute efficient, durable, low cost solar LD lamps to people without access to electricity is hosting a fundraiser cocktail on 29 December at the Enterprise Guest House. See more details on the poster below.
The electricity crisis is one that is urgent as only 35% of the Sub-Saharan African population have access to electricity. The fundraiser cocktail event, therefore, aims to raise funds for underserved communities in Ghana who have no reliable access to electricity by providing them with the innovative LukeLights, which consist of a solar LD lamp and a solar power bank. Consistent with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 7, LukeLights is an efficient, environmentally friendly and renewable source of energy.
We kindly ask that you consider partnering with us to alleviate the electricity crisis in underserved communities in Ghana this holiday season.
With your support we will be able to provide LukeLights to over 1000 people. With your support at this upcoming event, we’re sure to achieve this season’s fundraising goal and serve our community well. One light at a time.
We look forward to your generous assistance!
